At Kave Home’s facilities in Sils (Girona), an energy storage project based on lithium-polymer batteries has been implemented, with a capacity of 430 kWh and a power output of 210 kW. The battery has been integrated with a 508 kWp photovoltaic plant, with the daily objective of maximizing the self-consumption rate and providing several hours of backup power in the event of a power outage.
The battery will also generate additional daily savings by reducing excess power demand charges (Peak Shaving) and shifting energy consumption to lower-cost tariff periods (Load Shifting).
The project includes:
- High-capacity 430 kWh / 210 kW battery.
- SEMS intelligent management system (Smart Energy Management System).
- Automatic STS switch (Static Transfer Switch) for seamless power transfer without supply interruption.
- Connection panel and interconnection line.
- Assembly and installation, transport and crane services.
The implementation of this project strengthens Solventa6’s position as a leading provider of hybrid photovoltaic + battery solutions, delivering energy savings, security and sustainability to its clients.
