Agroporc and Friselva<\/strong>, part of the weRfoods Group<\/strong>, have been honored with the BBVA E-TECH Award for Sustainable Business Strategy<\/strong>, which highlights their commitment to innovation, sustainability and the energy transition within the agri-food sector.<\/p>\n

This recognition highlights the value of the self-consumption project with battery storage<\/strong> implemented at Can Ribas Farm<\/strong> in Sant Mart\u00ed Vell (Girona), an initiative led by Agroporc and Friselva (weRfoods Group) and technically developed by Solventa6<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A pioneering self-consumption energy project with battery storage<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The award-winning project consists of a 120 kWp hybrid photovoltaic installation<\/strong> combined with a 215 kWh lithium-polymer battery<\/strong>, enabling maximum solar self-consumption and ensuring power supply even in the event of a grid outage.<\/p>\n

At Solventa6<\/strong>, we carried out the design and installation of the energy storage system<\/strong>, which complements the photovoltaic plant and enhances its efficiency, safety and operational continuity.<\/p>\n

This combination of solar energy and battery technology represents a major step towards a more autonomous and sustainable energy model for the primary sector.<\/p>\n

A shared recognition of sustainable innovation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Although the award was granted to Agroporc and Friselva<\/strong>, part of the weRfoods Group<\/strong>, this achievement also acknowledges the joint effort between companies that share the same vision: advancing sustainability through technological innovation.<\/p>\n
