At Solventa6, we continue moving forward with our commitment to energy transition and sustainability. After months of intense work, we are very pleased to share with you the launch of a new project: a 1 MWp photovoltaic solar park in the province of Girona.
This is one of the most important projects we have developed so far, and it represents a new way of understanding renewable energy production, based on coexistence with the territory and respect for the natural environment.
An important step: installing the solar panels
Today we are taking a key step: we have completed the installation of the 1,600 solar panels that will bring this infrastructure to life. Some stages still remain —such as cabling and connection to the transformer station—, but the project is already taking shape.
To celebrate this moment, we have prepared a time-lapse video showing the complete panel assembly process, which you can now watch on LinkedIn and YouTube. We invite you to take a look!
The project in figures
- Power: 1 MWp
- Installed panels: 1,600
- Supports used: Solarbloc (550 kg/unit)
- Transformer station: 23 tons
- Coexistence with livestock: yes, with integrated grazing
- Goal: generate clean energy, with respect for the territory
An energy vision combining nature and technology
This solar park is not just an energy infrastructure: it is a commitment to a different future, where clean technologies can coexist with biodiversity, landscapes, and the traditional activities of the territory, such as livestock farming.
At Solventa6, we work to ensure that the energy transition is not only a reality but also fair, inclusive, and respectful of environmental and social values.
We believe it is possible to produce renewable energy in a way that is compatible with the natural and rural environment. This project is an example: its design has considered landscape integration and the presence of livestock, fostering a multiple and sustainable use of the land.
None of this would have been possible without the rigorous and committed work of our engineering and construction team, who have worked intensively to achieve this first major milestone.
There is still a way to go until the park is fully operational, but today we celebrate a major step forward.
We will continue to report on progress. In the meantime, we invite you to watch the video and follow us to see up close how we are building, day by day, another way of producing energy.
